Oilfield Basics

Oilfield Basics is a wholly-owned subsidiary of American Energy Partners, Inc. that was established in April 2018 by two Petroleum engineering students - Derek Krieg and Sebastian Ziaja. Our mission is to create a host of resources that make learning about the oilfield simple. To achieve this goal, we partner with companies and individuals across our vast industry and enable them to share their piece of the industry with others. We provide a platform for podcast interviews, educational webinars, videos, online courses, and more. 

Oilfield Basics is an online resource for learning more about the oil & gas industry. We offer multiple self-paced online courses for anyone looking to gain a stronger understanding of our vast and complex industry. Furthermore, we are offering video blogs which discuss many of the questions and concerns that are prevalent regarding our operations.
