Seed was founded in 2009 by Cris Schrader, PE to provide a professional one-stop shop for solar, engineering and green building services and installations, while maintaining a personal customer service experience. Each project has unique site, and personalize our approach to each client’s needs.

Seed serves the greater Capital Region, including the cities of Albany, Schenectady, Troy and Saratoga and is headquartered in Troy, NY at the Rensselaer Technology Park.

Giving back is a core value of Seed reflected through our volunteer work in solar and clean water projects through organizations such as To Love a Child, RPI’s Engineers for a Sustainable World and RPI’s Engineers Without Borders.
