Border Well Services, Inc.

Founded in November 2000 by the Alarcon Family, Border Well Services, Inc. had its humble beginnings out of the family’s home garage.  With hard-working family members and the drive to provide the best quality in well testing services, the company prospered.  Continued strong leadership and work ethic helped the company establish itself as a leading provider of well services in the area.  With the demand for additional services, Double Eagle, LLC was launched, offering torque and testing services.  In a few years, the dedication paid off, and in 2003, the first major expansion for Border Well came as it relocated to the South Texas Industrial Park with 10 employees.  The company continued to expand, opening offices in Cleburne, Texas (2008), in Searcy, Arkansas (2009), and Kilgore, Texas (2009).  In 2009, growth brought the need for additional space, and the business relocated to its current building on Highway 359.  With the opportunities presented by the Eagle Ford Shale and a strong business plan in place, Jesus and Randy Alarcon continued their investment in the company’s growth.  In 2011, the out-of-town offices closed to focus on servicing the needs of Eagle Ford customers.  However, by 2015 the boom in the Permian Basin brought the opportunity for a move into West Texas.  A second shop opened up in Odessa, Texas, allowing for a successful operation since then in both the Eagle Ford and Permian Basins.  In 2017, Randy Alarcon took advantage of the opportunity to provide parts, equipment and oilfield supplies in general, and opened up Vortex Oil & Gas Supply LLC.

As a leading service provider of well production and torque and testing, and with more than 40 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, Border Well Services, Inc. continues to successfully operate in conjunction with Double Eagle Torque and Test, LLC and Vortex Oil & Gas Supply.  Our work ethic is one of excellence at all levels combined with high safety standards in all areas. The company has continued to be a close-knit, family-oriented business.  Giving back to the community and supporting its employees are just as important to Border Well Services and the Alarcon Family, as providing the highest quality service in the industry.
