Vine Oil and Gas

Vine Oil and Gas is a private company established in 2014 in partnership with the Blackstone Group to acquire high-return natural gas assets in the prolific Haynesville Basin.  Today, we hold an average operated working interest of approximately 80% in 188,000 net effective acres in the core of the Haynesville Basin and operate approximately 925 MMcfd of production across Sabine, DeSoto and Red River parishes in North Louisiana (~600 MMcfd net). Our acreage is prospective for dual zone development from the Haynesville and Mid-Bossier shales, two of the most prolific natural gas resources plays in North America. We have been among the most active drillers in the basin since 2015.

The company was founded by our President and CEO, Eric Marsh. Alongside him is the best technical team in the industry, a group of veteran oil & gas executives with a long track record of best-in-class operations and many years of Haynesville experience stemming back to the earliest wells drilled in the basin.  Our management team has extensive experience operating in U.S. conventional and shale resource plays and have collectively managed the drilling and completion of over 1,000 horizontal onshore oil & gas wells while continually implementing new drilling, completion and production technologies.  Our strategy is to draw upon our management team’s experience to economically grow reserves, production and cash flow and thus enhance the value of our assets, all while upholding an unwavering commitment to a safety first culture and prudent financial management.
