In February of 1974, Regal Plumbing and Heating was established. Regal started serving York County in an old Toyota and Chevy pickup truck with two employees, who were the owners. These two trucks were loaded down with everything, including the kitchen sink. REGAL, surprised York with their professionalism and good old fashioned hard work and 24 hour emergency service, which was a new concept in York.  As the years passed, REGAL grew, adding their Air Conditioning division and becoming incorporated in 1980. We are proud of our 26 employees, who will show you professionalism and hard work today, in the fields of plumbing, heating & air conditioning.

So, Why Geothermal?

Geothermal heat pump systems are the most energy and cost efficient systems on the market and therefore the greenest technology for heating and cooling. The technology uses the relatively constant temperature of the earth (thermal energy) to provide heating, air conditioning and hot water. Ground and water temperature, 6 feet below the earth’s surface, stay relatively constant throughout the year.  This allows the system to provide extremely efficient heating and cooling all year long in virtually any climate. Sometimes the term “environmental comfort system” is used to describe a geothermal heat pump. This happens because a heat pump absorbs or rejects heat from the earth and has absolutely no impact on the environment.
