ClearWELL™ is a surface mounted scale control technology which transmits radio frequency
signals along production tubing. It is highly effective in inhibiting the formation of mineral
scale in oil and gas wells or in surface processing equipment.

ClearWELL’s technology was originally patented by MSL in 2011 and, with the support of Weatherford, was tested across more than twenty pilot field applications to successfully demonstrate its effectiveness. Following development and commercialisation, the technology was distributed by Weatherford, then later by Lubrizol Corporation.

The 2017 exit of Lubrizol from the oilfield services market provided an opportunity for MSL and FrontRow to work together to reunite the trading business with MSL’s original intellectual property, electronic engineering and manufacturing expertise. Bringing their extensive oil and gas industry knowledge, influence and commercial networks to bear, FrontRow Energy Technology Group was the ideal partner to help drive forward business growth.

From its 2017 start-up, the company has quickly expanded and we now support many rental installations around the world, both on and offshore, from Europe to North and South America, Asia and Australasia.
