QLM is developing compact, high-sensitivity, low-power Tuneable Diode Lidar (TDLidar) gas detection and imaging systems based on infrared single-photon detection to meet the needs of natural gas producers, distributors and service providers for fast, accurate and low-cost gas leak identification.
QLM is proud to annouce the initiation of the SPLICE project, a multidisciplinary consortium underpinned by Innovate UK and the UK National Quantum Technologies Program, designed to bring QLM’s gas visualisation solution to full commercial readiness. Bringing together technological expertise and representing business, academic and government interests, the vision is to create a fast-response gas camera that can monitor methane and carbon dioxide emissions and inform leak detection and repair operations.
