Daystar Petroleum, Inc. began with the encouragement of family and friends aware of the principal’s integrity, his experience and expertise in improving economics of existing production, and implementing exploration projects. In March of 1993, an operator’s license with the Kansas Corporation Commission was granted and later that year, two producing leases the Mary Major and the Atwell in Lane County, Kansas were purchased and operations began with a handful of investors. Over the years, Daystar has continued to expand through acquisition of existing production and through exploration.
