Ecotec was established in 2009 to build and operate renewable, clean and alternative energy installations.

We work with clients across the UK to install a variety of renewable energy solutions, including resource recovery, biomass, solar, heat pumps and many other types of energy generation.

In 2014, Ecotec identified a need for an IED-compliant solution to handle waste wood.  We subsequently developed a Small-Scale Waste Incineration Plant (SWIIP) capable of burning Grade C waste wood.  

Further to our waste wood offering we have now developed IED compliant advanced thermal treatment plants for multiple fuel types such as RDF and hazardous waste feedstocks.
