Highlands Propane

Highlands  Propane was founded in May 1991 by Owner Shawn Bellwood.  Highlands was a small seasonal business serving local Trailer Parks until the fall of 1992 when he expanded to serve residential and larger commercial propane accounts.  Since then, the demand for propane as a heating fuel has continued to grow, and with that demand so did Highlands. As Highlands began to increase so did our service area, and so did our staff size.  With the help of our wonderful family and staff, Highlands Propane has grown to be the only independently owned propane facility in the City of Kawartha Lakes.
