Founded in 1991, AAA Propane Service, Inc. is locally owned and operated by the Simpson Family.  We live and work in the same community as our customers. 

Fred Simpson started the company in 1991 after retiring from the House Moving industry.  It was a project he shared with his son JR and partner Ford Scott.  In 1993, Debbie and John Simpson joined the AAA team.

In 1994, the Oxnard plant opened.  Its mounded propane tank system gives the Oxnard storage facility a storage capacity of 60,000 gallons; the largest in the area.  The additional storage enables us to provide our customers with uninterrupted service.
