Solar Point was founded by owner Al Garcia, who took his knowledge of the oil, gas, and energy markets to create what is now Solar Point.  Al Garcia was born and raised in the small West Texas town of Big Lake, Texas. He is a local businessman with over 21 years of knowledge and experience in the energy sector of the Permian Basin.

Safety, quality, and excellent customer service are what drive Al to be the best in all that he does. As a family man, he enjoys making memories and traveling with his wife and children, instilling in them the same good principles and values that his father instilled in him. Those closest to Al have described him as humble, loyal, and honest with a great sense of humor. 

Art was born, raised, and has lived in the Permian Basin all of his life. Growing up in the small town of Big Lake, Art has only known one way of life, the Permian Basin way! He and his family moved to Midland back in 2007 and have been here ever since. Art has seen both Midland and Odessa grow through the years and looks forward to the continued growth of both cities and the rest of the Permian Basin. Art has over 20 years of sales experience and 18 years of managerial experience and looks forward to helping the Permian Basin take advantage of the power of the sun!  “I look forward to helping and educating all of our prospective clients in learning about solar energy and our solar panel systems.
