The Petrol Tank Company Ltd was formed in 2008 by directors of Ideals UK Ltd to build on the success of petrol tank sales to the leisure sector, pioneered by Ideals in 2006.
In 2006 the 975 above ground petrol storage tank designed to store and receive tanker delivered petrol was launched. This was enthusiastically received by Schools, Marinas, Outdoor Pursuits Centres, Local Authorities, Golf Clubs and Farms which had long been looking for a safe and convenient way of storing petrol for on-site vehicles and machinery.
