Africa GreenTec develops, builds, supplies and operates mobile, scalable solar containers for the power supply of villages in rural Africa. In the spring of 2014, Torsten Schreiber, founder of Africa GreenTec, was invited to visit basic power plants in Bamako, the capital of Mali, by Malian Minister of Energy Frankaly Keita. He learned, that the partly 60-year-old diesel power plants cause problematic emissions in the surrounding residential areas.
