Kuwait Approves $1.5 Billion Crude Oil Pipeline Expansion Contracts
SEATTLE (Oil Monster): Kuwait’s Central Agency for Public Tenders (CAPT) has approved four major contracts worth a combined KWD 447.31 million ($1.5 billion) to expand the country’s crude oil pipeline network, according to local media reports.
The large-scale infrastructure program will be executed by the state-owned Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) and spans North, South, East, and West Kuwait.

The largest contract, valued at KWD 174.23 million ($568 million), was awarded to Heavy Engineering Industries and Shipbuilding Company (HEISCO) for Portion III of the North Kuwait works. HEISCO also secured the East Kuwait package worth KWD 97.86 million ($319 million).
The South Kuwait contract, valued at KWD 97.86 million, was awarded to Mechanical Engineering and Contracting Company after submitting the lowest bid. Combined Group Contracting Company won the West Kuwait project for KWD 77.33 million ($252 million).
The pipeline expansion is a key component of Kuwait’s strategy to sustain and potentially increase crude oil production capacity. The project includes installation of high-pressure pipelines, advanced monitoring systems, and enhanced safety infrastructure to improve operational efficiency and streamline crude transport to storage and export facilities.
