The first initiative is the Integrated Well Continuity Services (IWCS) contract, which offers a balanced approach to cost and margin management in order to accommodate rising expenses and shifting market conditions. The previous Integrated Well Services (IWS) model has been replaced with this one. The new approach divides the industry's operations into 13 sub-packages and four main packages. After careful consideration, PETRONAS has also chosen 34 eligible contractors for these packages.
Second, it created the MPM HWU Academy, which would concentrate on fostering the development of specialized abilities in workover and well abandonment. The Academy will provide cutting-edge training to create a highly qualified workforce, guaranteeing the industry's long-term success. It displays PETRONAS' dedication to fostering regional knowledge.
The aforementioned efforts demonstrate PETRONAS' commitment to the nation's energy security and to a steady and sustainable supply of gas and oil.
