US Henry Hub natural gas prices average three-year high for October
That was up from $2.19 a year earlier, though below a five-year (2020-2024) October average of $3.76.
SEATTLE (Oil Monster): Benchmark U.S. spot natural gas prices at the Henry Hub (NG-W-HH-SNL) in Louisiana hit a three-year high for the month of October, LSEG pricing data showed.
Gas prices averaged $3.19 per million British thermal units (mmBtu), their highest for October since 2022.
That was up from $2.19 a year earlier, though below a five-year (2020-2024) October average of $3.76.
So far in 2025, prices at Henry Hub have averaged $3.42, well above a four-year low of $2.19 for full-year 2024 but in line with the five-year average of $3.42.
