
SEATTLE (Oil Monster): On September 16, Azerbaijan’s State Customs Committee reported that the country had resumed crude oil exports to India after a 10-month suspension.
According to the data, in August 2025, Azerbaijan exported 1,747.07 tons of crude oil to India, worth $781,520. This represented a significant decline, with volumes dropping by a factor of 589 and the value decreasing by a factor of 827 compared to the same period in 2024. Exports to India accounted for only 0.01% of Azerbaijan’s total crude oil exports.
The State Customs Committee also noted that in January–August 2025, Azerbaijan exported just over 65,361 tons of crude oil to Türkiye, valued at more than $30.279 million. Compared with the corresponding period of 2024, this marked a 4.8-fold decrease in volume and a 5.7-fold drop in value. Crude oil exports to Türkiye accounted for 0.41% of Azerbaijan’s total oil exports.
