SEATTLE (Oil Monster): Oman’s Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources announced the launch of new bid round for oil and gas exploration and production.
Salah bin Hafiz Al-Dhahab, Director General of Investment at the Ministry of Energy and Minerals, stated to Oman News Agency, that the bid includes blocks 18, 36, 43 and 66.
He added that applying to these areas is opened until June.
Al-Dhahab elaborated that the Ministry of Energy and Minerals is interesting in increasing production capacity, attracting investments, accelerating field development, and facilitating the development process, in new exploration areas as well as the existing fields.
