SEATTLE (Oil Monster): Israel-headquartered Ratio Energies targets to commence works on doubling its natural gas production capabilities during the current year itself. This will be achieved through expansion of the existing infrastructure of its Leviathan gas processing platform, said Yigal Landau, CEO of the company.
According to him, the company witnessed 99% production uptime in 2022, which resulted in the company producing nearly the Leviathan platform’s maximum output capacity. Furthermore, it helped the company to maximise its revenues for the whole year, which turned out to be one of the great years for Ratio Energies, he added.
During the year, it plans to begin the process of “de-bottlenecking” by doubling the physical production capacity of its Leviathan platform's current infrastructure. In addition, the company intends to install a third gathering line from the gas field to the platform, which will ensure short-term surge in output.
The proposed expansion is likely to help Israel boost its natural gas exports to neighbouring countries.
The company reiterated its commitment towards carbon capture, as well as blue and green Hydrogen, by continuing to explore and promote clean energy technology, through its subsidiary company, Ratio Technology.
