The company announced flow test results for the West Akcakoca-1 natural gas well at the SASB gas field. The perforation of the West Akcakoca well's two lower “D” sands with a combined total of 7 meters of natural gas pay took place on March 24th. These two zones were flow tested at a rate of 5.9 MMcf/day. Also, the company reported shut in pressure of 1620 psi. The well is all set to enter into long-term production, the company press release noted.

Approximately 48 meters of gas pay remains to be perforated in future, which in turn will ensure long-term production from the well.

Commenting on the development, Arthur Halleran, CEO, Tellurian stated that the company is pleased to double its gas production as two wells enter production for April 2023, thus making the total number of producing wells from the SSAB development program to four. Since last year, the company has successfully drilled and produced from four out of four targets, he added.
