UK Gas Pipeline to Belgium Proposes Shutdown by April Next Year

SEATTLE (Oil Monster): The Interconnector UK pipeline transporting gas between Britain and Belgium proposed on Wednesday a shutdown for maintenance between April 2 and April 12, 2019.

Flows will be reduced to zero during the 10-day period, operator Interconnector UK Limited said in a statement.

The pipeline transports gas both ways, usually switching to exporting gas to the Continent during the summer months. A final announcement confirming the date of the shutdown is due on Aug 13.
