About Company

Brisk Energy Corporation (BEC) is a privately held, federally incorporated and extra provincially registered Corporation in BC, AB, and Sask.

Brisk Energy Corporation is addressing an age old problem in the oil patch, heating the oil in storage containers in order to transport the oil to retail. Traditionally the industry uses propane burners under the tanks to heat the oil for transport as we do in the Luseland field, however the costs associated with using propane can be excessively high and drastically reduce profits.  Collectively we have designed a Green Energy solution using a Geothermal System. The system is a new and innovative application for Geothermal that greatly reduces operating costs within the O&G industry with a wide variety of applications.

Farm application

Brisk, along with its engineers have already expanded the potential use of our Zero Emission System to the agricultural industry and is completing the design of a bolt on system for grain, wheat and corn silos to dry the product bypassing the use of propane to not only save money for the farmer, but eliminate all harmful environmental emissions. We feel that we have just scratched the surface of the potential applications of our system that can be used globally by a variety of industries and intend on advancing to the prototype stage for both systems

Alignment with Scope

This project supports our goal of creating innovative solutions which better humanity by reducing environmental emissions while making the Canadian Energy Sector more competitive in the global marketplace through operating cost reduction and increased product margins. Data gathered in the Preliminary Front End Design and Detailed Design project phases will provide key understanding of the process operation under ambient real world conditions to finalize design architecture of the system. We will then have sufficient detail to create a functioning prototype ensuring final design changes are accurately implemented allowing for the construction of safe and reliable commercialized package. This modular technology will be environmentally friendly with the elimination of combustion emissions associated with heating production fluids while being economically beneficial for users with realized reductions in fuel consumption and operating costs.

Environmental Impact

Positive Environmental Impacts – Many GHG emission reduction systems either convert “dirty” sources of fossil fuels over to cleaner sources but still require the release of some form of emissions. Our packaged system takes the goal of de-carbonizing the energy sector one step further by eliminating the consumption of fossil fuels associated with our prescribed task. This emissions elimination, viewed in unison with the sheer number of anticipated eligible storage tanks in service within Canada and abroad, creates meaningful reductions in GHG emissions from burning fossil fuels. Our Zero Emissions kit is applicable to both existing infrastructure and new infrastructure being put into service every year to meet production demands. The positive environmental impact of this system will grow significantly greater as the technology gains a foothold in the energy sector. Our technology makes legitimate sense for both the environment and a company’s bottom line and is expected to see widespread acceptance in the Oil and Gas industry and beyond. This package allows for producers of any size and market cap to participate in the fight to reduce energy sector emissions.

Socio-Economic Impact

Garner public trust and awareness towards the energy sector by demonstrating their effort and commitment in reducing their industries carbon footprint. Our system allows producers of all sizes to contribute to the decarbonizing our future with ease of accessibility of our technology providing the opportunity for widespread participation. This will be essential in proving to the public that energy producers are diligently looking into all aspects of their operations in an effort to enact positive systemic environmental change.

Economic Benefits to Producers

This system should substantially reduce lifting costs for producers by reducing their cash cost per barrel at every stage of well production, which is essential in today’s globally competitive marketplace. These cost savings will give producers a competitive advantage over their peers in the energy sector by helping them produce environmentally safe, cost effective energy. This technology is beneficial for every producer, even ones with marginal wells who without these cost savings might be required to shut-in production at these locations. Utilizing our system will allow companies to realize economic benefits from wells with lower production rates by extending well life and keeping people employed longer to operate them while ensuring maximize production of our finite in ground resources.

Economic Benefits To Labor Force

The components of this package will be sourced from local vendors and the package itself will be manufactured and assembled in Canada, regardless of where this product is shipped to ensuring jobs stay within the local economy. A unique benefit of this system is that it allows for simple retrofitting onto existing infrastructure while eliminating emissions from an old technology and can be easily installed onto new tanks entering the market. Rare is there a product that can effectively address the inefficiencies of an old technology while simultaneously having application and demand in today’s current market on a forwarding thinking basis. This increases current and future employment opportunities for years to come in the sales, marketing, manufacturing, installation and the service industries. This system fundamentally change how producers in Canada and around the world heat their production fluids.
