About Company

In the future, our power grid will not be made with a few large power plants, but with many small, decentralized Combined Heat & Power (CHP) systems.

Under the current model, where power generation comes from large power plants, only 33% of primary energy is turned into usable electricity. The other 67% are released into the atmosphere, unused. The energy is lost in heating separate boilers and while the electricity travels through the grid to reach its destination.

Combined Heat and Power systems are becoming increasingly important in the energy sector’s transformation to a decentralized, stable and sustainable power grid.

Combined heat and power (CHP) is an efficient and clean way of generating electric power and thermal energy from a single fuel source. The engine drives the generator, producing electricity, and the residual heat created during this process is recaptured and turned into useful heat.
Two types of "waste heat" are produced by generating electricity. The first type is the heat that is recovered from the engine jacket water that is cooling the engine. Secondly heat from the exhaust gas is transferred via heat exchanger. This captured “waste heat” now can be used for heating, cooling or generating steam.

CHP systems are typically installed onsite, supplying customers with heat and power directly at the point of use, therefore helping avoid the significant losses which occur in transmitting electricity from large centralized plants to the customer.

CHP systems can be employed over a wide range of sizes, applications, fuels and technologies.

  • Full cost control
  • Highest reliability and efficiency
  • Stable operation in case of power outages within the utility grid
  • Fulfills highest environmental standards
  • Sustainable energy investment
  • Compliance with governmental carbon emission regulations

Service & Maintenance

2G service. Reliable and fast.

2G offers a leading edge service concept so that every 2G power plant runs permanently and with maximum efficiency. Service is supported by the 2G Remote Controlling System for automated remote diagnosis, control and maintenance.

Automated remote diagnosis.

2G has expanded servicing via remote access to the plant control system by adding an innovative module: 2G Remote Controlling System. The key to this concept is automated remote diagnosis of all the plant parameters. If a technical disruption is looming in a 2G power plant, it is automatically reported online to the 2G service center without delay. This is carried out without the operator needing to take any action.

With the relevant system parameters, the system also reports a suggested solution. An employee in the 2G service center initiates the appropriate measures immediately to ensure that the plant continues to operate. Fast and reliable!

Premium service contract. Complete cost control.

2G offers various service contracts. With a premium service contract, an operator of a 2G power plant is well protected. No additional costs arise as a result of maintenance and repair work (including all spare and wear parts). Subsequently, the operator retains full cost control.

2G service team. Professional maintenance around the clock.

A comprehensive service network and an extensive spare parts warehouse form the basis for a professional on-site maintenance and repair service. 2G service vehicles and specially trained service partners ensure our guaranteed high plant availability.
