AGDAÅž was privatized by Adapazarı Municipality in 2003 and became “Turkey's first privatized natural gas distribution company” and started its activities dynamically after the privatization. By taking the first step towards becoming the assurance of clean air in Sakarya on May 29, 2003, it provided the first gas supply to the regions it invested in on October 29, 2003, which coincides with the 80th anniversary of our Republic.

AGDAÅž, which had a 20 km distribution network in the period before privatization, has Turkey's 10th largest natural gas distribution network with more than 4,300 km distribution lines today. AGDAÅž, which invested 150 million USD in the first ten years, has contributed 1.5 billion TL in total to the country's economy since 2003, when it served.

In 2017, he was deemed worthy of the EFQM Turkey Excellence and Turkey Best Employers awards. AGDAÅž, which received the Peryön Leadership in Human Value award in 2019, is among the successful institutions in Sakarya and its sector. AGDAÅž, which received a 30-year urban gas distribution license from EMRA, continues its investments that shape the economy of Sakarya and Turkey with its 229 expert staff.
