American Enerpower, established in 2002, is an energy management company located in Houston, Texas. We help companies reduce electricity costs by reducing electricity usage. We do this by installing energy efficient equipment. The equipment is purchased and installed by a national energy retailer, i.e. there are no capital requirements for the company. The cost of the equipment is repaid monthly until the purchase price is retired. The savings from lower electricity usage offsets the cost of the equipment purchased. An electricity commodity contract is executed to create these savings. After the purchase price is retired the company continues to receive savings.
