BIOFUEL SERVICES

AmSpec provides quality inspection and testing services to biofuel refiners, producers, blenders, distributors, consumers and research facilities. The biofuel products include biodiesel, ethanol and other fuels blended with these products.  Our laboratories provide cost effective testing for biodiesel fuels including fast, accurate, reliable testing, biodiesel cargo inspection, research and troubleshooting.  All of our major laboratories have full service testing capabilities including biodiesel fuel quality control, blending evaluation, fuel contamination issues, quality confirmation, trace residual analysis, and other tests.

BUNKER FUEL SERVICES

Full quality testing and BQS (Bunker Quantity Survey), BIS (Bunker Investigative Survey) On Hire Off Hire bunker inspection services are available for all Marine Bunker Fuels, DM (Distillate Marine) and RM (Residual Marine). The fuels are tested to national and international industry and regulatory standards including ASTM and ISO 8217:2017 specifications.

CRUDE OIL SERVICES

Crude oil testing and inspection services at AmSpec are available for cargo tankers, pipelines, storage tanks, refineries, and other sources. Our lab network is well equipped to provide crude oil testing conforming to industry standard protocols.  AmSpec petroleum laboratories test crude oil to recognized industry standards such as ASTM, ISO, IP and others. Crude Oil Assay services could also be arranged. A dedicated staff of field inspectors, laboratory technicians and operations co-coordinators work around the clock to ensure client requirements are being met and to notify relevant parties when cargo analysis is off-spec.

DIESEL FUEL TESTING

AmSpec’s state of the art laboratories provide a full range of diesel fuel testing and field inspections. Services are offered for a wide range of fuels, including diesel fuel, Biodiesel blends, ULSD and other fuel oils.

GASOLINE TESTING SERVICES

Gasoline fuel inspections and testing is available for refiners, blenders, distributors, cargo custody transfers and gas stations. Our laboratories are equipped with the latest, state of the art instrumentation and staffed with fully trained, experienced analysts. Gasoline fuels are tested using industry standard testing methods and to ASTM D4814, European, blended gasoline, pipeline, and/or US regulatory (CARB, EPA) specifications.  Our Laboratories provide full RFG gasoline testing and adhere strictly to US-EPA approved methods for RFG and conventional gasoline analyses.
