NYPGA is a member-focused trade organization that provides communication and education services and that promotes the propane industry in New York, including propane autogas.  The association, formed in 1948, offers opportunities for its members to learn through training and networking with their peers and assists with legislative issues that contribute to operating a safe and successful industry.  Because the industry is highly regulated, the NYPGA continues to focus on education, networking, representing the interests of New York’s propane businesses to the government, and helping members stay current on important regulations in the propane industry.  The New York Propane Gas Association is one of many state and regional propane gas associations affiliated with the National Propane Gas Association.
