About Company

Barnaby is pioneering the energy revolution and paving the future for energy resiliency and sustainability.

  • Partnering with public and private institutions, local communities, and businesses to deliver responsible and reliable energy for tomorrow’s needs.
  • Major renewable player through leadership in Social, Environmental, Sustainable, and Economical energy services.

Our Mission

  • Create local jobs, improve ecological footprint, support local businesses and reduce energy cost.
  • Offer communities energy intelligence for a self-managed, secure, economical, and eco-friendly energy future by harnessing natures resources and localizing energy production.

Services

  • Microgrids are the solution to a more reliable and affordable energy future. They help communities conserve energy and reduce costs. Microgrids are localized power grids that can be linked to larger grids, or disconnected from the traditional grid systems and operate autonomously. They allow communities located away from cities to meet all of their energy needs. They help assure that energy dollars stay local and reduce dependence on external energy sources that must be transported over long distances. Microgrids help communities power street lights, city water and sewage, cell towers, and gas stations. Microgrids support a flexible and efficient electric grid by enabling the integration of renewable energy sources. The U.S Department of Energy has a comprehensive portfolio of activities focusing on the education, development, and integration of microgrids in order to keep the nation moving towards a clean and affordable energy future.
  • Wind energy is the exploitation of abundant onshore and offshore wind to produce green electricity.  Large wind turbines convert the kinetic energy of the wind into mechanical power. This mechanical power then powers an electric generator that supplies an electric current. It can then be used to generate energy and power communities. Wind turbines can be used as stand-alone applications or connected to a utility power grid or even combined with solar energy systems. For utility-scale sources, a large number of wind turbines are built close together to form a wind farm. Wind energy is abundant in many parts of the United States and is a powerful source of energy in areas with stronger wind speeds. Wind power plants have a relatively minor impact on the environment, especially when compared to traditional power sources.
  • Solar power is energy harnessed from the sun and converted into thermal or electrical energy. It is the cleanest and most abundant sources of renewal energy. Solar technologies can harness energy to generate electricity, provide lighting, and heat water sources. Solar energy can be harnessed through photovoltaics, solar heating & cooling, and concentrating solar power. All of these are active processes that use mechanical or electrical devises to convert the sun’s heat or light to another form of energy. In addition, passive solar energy sources can be attached to structures and are designed to collect, store and distribute the heat energy from the sun without reliance on moving parts. Solar energy incorporates flexible technology. A solar power grid can be built as distributed generation, wherein it is located at or near the point of use, or it can be built as a central station, utility scale plant. Both of these methods allow for the storage of energy for distribution after the sun sets.
