Ben Taylor Incorporated is a family owned and operated business located in Shelby, Montana. Ben Taylor Inc. was started in 1946 by Ben Taylor. Ben began the business by buying Carter Oil Company in 1946 when he returned home from World War II. Ben developed this small company into the thriving business it is today.  The business has stayed in his family and is now run by his son.   Ben Taylor Inc. has locations in 4 counties in North Central Montana. Building on the past has brought Ben Taylor Inc. into the present and it will continue moving forward. 

• There are a variety of products and services our company offers. The bulk plant locations deal in bulk fuel delivery, bulk propane delivery, and chemical distribution. These locations also sell various types of oil and grease.

• Other products available are propane inserts and heaters, parts and fittings for spray equipment, and feed for various types of animals.

• The True Value location features a propane tank fill station that is RV accessible. It is also a full service hardware store that features plumbing and electical supplies along with paint and accessories.

• Main Street Convenience on Main Street in Shelby offers a deli, coffee, snacks and of course, fuel. This is the location of the CFN cardlock as well.

• Visit the tire shop in Valier and find the services you need in a crisis. Tire repairs, brake realignment and oil changes are just a few of the available services.

Products

Ben Taylor Inc. has a lot to offer in the line of animal feeds. Shelby & Valier bulk plants, along with BTI Feeds in Cut Bank,  have feeds available for horses, cows, chickens, pigs, and even rabbits. If there is something specific, please inquire as we are usually able to order it. The bulk plants located in Shelby & Valier also provide an assortment of Crystalyx brand supplement tubs. BTI Feeds located in Cut Bank has a wide selection of Crystalyx as well. BTI Feeds also deals in ranching supplies such as panels and branding supplies.Ben Taylor Inc. CFN cards are accepted at the following brands, over 40,000 locations in the United States and Canada.  Main Street Convenience offers Cenex brand gasoline. 

True Value

The True Value location features a propane tank fill station that is RV accessible. It is also a full service hardware store that features plumbing and electrical supplies along with paint and accessories.   The True Value Farm Store is located just off Highway 2 in Shelby. There is also a True Value store located near our Valier bulk plant.
