Here at BioWatt we’re still a relatively new company, now in our 3^rd year of successful operation.  We were formed by four like minded individuals coming from widely differing backgrounds but with 30 years of combined “know-how” in the processing, digesting, composting and remediating of organics!

Our principle aim is to provide engineering, development, funding and consulting expertise to the widest possible range of organic wastes and feed materials.  Organic materials are the building blocks of life and it’s no accident that we talk about carbon when we talk about human induced climate change and the carbon based nature of life on Earth.  As such we always view any organic based material (whether contaminated, smelly or problematic) as an opportunity to produce valuable products from enhanced natural processes and in doing so create sustainable and profitable business opportunities.

Farm Biogas and anaerobic digestion represent a massive opportunity to solve a number of problems imposed on farmers trying to operate in today’s heavily regulated and consumer society.

Whether small or large in scale, biogas plants offer economic opportunities for the storage and processing organic farm wastes, growing valuable energy crops (as catch, cover or break crops), land leasing and renewable heat, power and fuel production. The main benefit, however, is stability: stable incomes over 20-25 years without having to give up are radically alter existing farming practices. Indeed, growing non-food crops creates opportunities to better manage soils, weed and pests through early or later cropping and applications of herbicides and pesticides.
