Solar power generation has emerged as one of the most rapidly growing renewable sources of electricity.  Solar power generation has several advantages over the other forms of electricity generation such as reduced dependance on fossil fuels, environmental advantages, modularity and scalability, flexible installation options and government incentives.  BVD Solar was founded in 2015 to meet the rising demand of the solar industry and provide alternative energy solutions that positively impact our environment and have solid financial returns for our customers.  Our sister company, Berkshire Fence, saw an increase of solar security fencing starting in 2013 across the state of Massachusetts.  This introduced us into the solar market as well as allowed us to develop key relationships with some of the top solar panel and electrical equipment manufacturers as well as engineering firms and investors.  Our 25 years experience in the construction trade and our new solar relationships helped to fuel the need to start a new division that concentrated solely on turn key solar ground mount and rooftop solar farms.  We help our customers realize all the benefits of renewable energy.  Our turn key approach makes the process easy and convenient with little or no upfront investment.
