C & O Distributors is the Quality &  Dependable welding supply and hardware store you have been looking for!  We are an authorized Service & Repair Center for Miller & Lincoln Electric equipment, machinery, and parts. We also provide Cylinder testing services with high-pressure hydro-testing and Propane Re-certification.

• 1961 Earl E. Stonesifer purchased the company, then located on Main Street, Westminster, in February.  For the tidy sum of $2500, he received an old delivery truck and a handful of Oxygen cylinders.  Many people don’t know this, but the name C&O comes from the last names of the original owners, Cross & Osborne.
• 1966 After outgrowing their Main Street facilities, they moved to a larger building on John Street, Westminster MD.
• 1975 Another expansion was needed, this time to a brand new facility on Lucabaugh Mill Road.
• 2007 Following a 2 year battle with cancer, Earl passed away at home surrounded by his family.  He left the business in the hands of his 4 children.
• 2009 Earl’s daughter Patsy, and her son Jason purchased the business from her siblings.
• Present Now C&O has thrived in recent years, expanding inventory and services, remodeling the store and adding employees.  Still, family owned and operated, C&O operates under the same basic principles Earl instilled nearly 60 years ago.
