We purchase power from the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA).  Our lines were first energized June 2nd, 1942 to a system of approximately 900 members spread out over 457 miles of line.Today we have 32,066 members spread out over 3,865 miles of line.  We have a total of 78 employees. We serve 85% residential consumers, 15% commercial and industrial consumers, averaging 8.3 consumers per mile of line.
