Castlebridge Group LLC ("CG") was founded in 2002 by the Principals of South River Consulting, LLC to manage its members’ interests in wholesale and retail energy, energy infrastructure development, as well as providing specialized consulting associated with energy contract structure, risk management and electric generation development. Located in Baltimore, MD, CG provides energy consulting services and development of both conventional and renewable energy generation. The team has been augmented with the addition of seasoned industry experts who gained their expertise as energy suppliers and utility executives. The company has operational experience in the retail energy area based on several affiliated companies which are briefly described below.      Castlebridge Energy Group ("CEG") was formed as an electric and natural gas supply company and began serving customers in June of 2010. CEG, a PJM member, operated as an electric supplier in the PECO distribution area in PA and the BGE, PEPCO and DP&L service areas in MD. It was also licensed to supply electricity in Washington DC. Its natural gas operations were focused in the BGE service territory. As a start-up residential electric and natural gas supplier, the company grew to over 22,000 customers when the book was sold to Washington Gas Energy Services in the Fall of 2013. BTU Energy LLC is a retail supplier of fuel oil to residential and commercial customers and a common carrier for refined oil products and gasoline. BTU Energy Advisors is an independent energy advisor assisting the business community in the use and purchase of electricity and natural gas in deregulated markets.      Distributed generation is a focus area for CG where the company provides engineering, project management and operations for its clients. Project sizes range from 1 to 20 MW in size and include cogeneration as well as simple cycle installations. For its clients, CG analyzes project economics, designs the system and manages the utility interface and project installation. The subcontractor team proposed for this effort has been utilized by CG on recent generation projects and elements of the team have worked together for over twenty years.      CG also has a minority interest in several other energy related firms including Chesapeake Renewable Energy, LLC ("CRE") where CG is responsible for general management of the company. CRE has successfully developed a 3.3 MW solar power generation facility, which it sold to Constellation Solar Maryland II, a subsidiary of Exelon Corporation. 8 MW of additional power is under development at the CRE location, which is on the Eastern Shore of MD in Somerset County. CG is also a partner in Somerset Utilities, a natural gas pipeline development company looking to serve the lower Eastern Shore of Maryland and Virginia. Delivery of natural gas in is expected by the first quarter of 2017.      The company’s genesis was South River Consulting LLC ("SRC"). SRC was founded to provide consulting and management services to retail users for energy procurement in the deregulated electric and natural gas markets. The company was acquired by EnerNOC, Inc. in May of 2008 and at the time of its acquisition; SRC managed approximately $2.5 billion of its clients’ annual energy spending in electricity, natural gas, and oil.

Primarily on Maryland’s beautiful Eastern shore,. Solar , and Natural Gas projects are where CRE is focused for renewable energy solutions.
