Gas Pipeline Transportation

Compressor stations are located at intervals of every 40-70 miles along a gas pipeline to compress the gas to a specified pressure, thereby allowing it to continue traveling along the pipeline to its destination. Compressor stations require filter separators that remove liquids, dirt, particles, and other impurities from the natural gas, and CECO offers considerable expertise at separation for gas pipeline compressor stations.

Petrochemical

Petrochemicals, also called petroleum distillates, are chemical products derived from petroleum. Petrochemicals are used to produce industrial chemicals, plastics products, synthetic rubber, dyes, synthetic detergents, polyurethanes, synthetic fibers, ammonia, and methanol. Chemical handling and emissions abatement are critical processes with stringent environmental standards.

Refinery

Petroleum refining is an industrial process in which crude oil is processed and refined into more useful products such as petroleum naphtha, gasoline, diesel fuel, asphalt base, heating oil, kerosene, and liquefied petroleum gas. Oil refineries transport streams of fluids between large chemical processing units, and refining processes create chemical emissions and odors.
