For product certification, we check that the manufacturer holds the required safety and operational Standards for their relevant technology and geographical market. We check that warranties, installation and user instructions are clear and understandable. We ensure that the manufacturer can evidence sound, product specific Factory Production Control and that their management system is certified to ISO 9001(2015) standard – and where they cannot evidence these, we undertake our own audits and on-site checks. Crucially, we check that the manufacturer has an effective product safety notice and recall process and is able to support end of life safe decommissioning, disposal and recycling.
