HISTORY

Como Oil & Propane of Florida was founded in 1946 in Northern Minnesota by Myles Hall. He opened shop with one truck, a handful of customers, and a dedication to serving the community. Myles expanded his operation to Fort Lauderdale in 1967, bringing his mid­western values to sunny South Florida. As the company started growing, Myles moved the headquarters to Palm City, the current location for Martin County Petroleum. His son, Robert Hall, was always fascinated by the work his father did and spent many Saturdays at the office as a child. He started running the company in the 1980s .The business expanded yet again in 2005 when Robert opened the Vero Beach office.

Meet Steve Wilson.  He delivers premium marine fuel at a discount straight to vessels from Vero Beach to Riviera Beach.  Over the 18 years he’s worked with Como, he has built a reputation of being the most desired dockside fuel man in the area.  Ask any one of his loyal customers and they will tell you that he is always on time, always clean, and will do his best to get to your boat on short notice.  Steve is equipped with a fuel truck and a 500ft hose to deliver diesel marine fuel.  Whether your vessel is located at your home or in a marina, Steve will make your fueling experience seamless, giving you more time to spend on the water.

Petroleum Delivery

Como Oil & Propane can fuel your business with top of the line non-ethanol fuel, unleaded fuel, on-road diesel and off-road diesel. We know when running your business minimizing cost is your top priority and we can help you do that. Buying fuel for your machinery or fleet of vehicles in bulk can reduce your price per gallon significantly. In addition to saving money, storing fuel on property can save time and increase your employees’ efficiency. You can buy, purchase, or lease tanks and we can install at your convenience. We supply fuel to many local businesses.

Lubricants

Como Oil & Propane offers bulk orders of lubricants that help you run your home or business. Products are available in 55 gallon drums, 5 gallon pails, cases (quart & gallon), and 5 gallon pails/tubes. We have a of full range of CAM2 products in addition to other brand names. If we don’t have it in stock, we will order it from our distributors if available.
