Established in 1890, Eastern Fuel is a 5th generation family business operating in the town of Hamden CT. The company began by delivering both wood and coal to the homes of the Greater New Haven Area. We later replaced wood and coal with a cleaner, affordable, more efficient energy in heating oil. For over a century, Eastern Fuel has been committed to improving our delivery product’s impact on our customers in CT and the planet. Automatic Home Heating Oil Deliveries

Eastern Fuel’s experienced office staff uses a computer generated Degree-Day system that can calculate when you are in need of home heating oil and deliver automatically. Automatic home heating oil deliveries will relieve homeowners from constantly monitoring their heating oil tank and eliminate the danger of running out of home heating oil during the cold winter in Connecticut.

Call-In Home Heating Oil Deliveries

Although we recommend our automatic home heating oil delivery system, we still offer you the option of monitoring your own fuel oil tank and the ability to request heating oil deliveries on your own schedule. There is a 100-gallon minimum requirement and we must have at least a 48 hour notice for call-in deliveries.

Cleaner than Natural Gas

The Bioheat® blends common in Connecticut today (2% and higher) have lower greenhouse gas emissions than natural gas. Studies show that ultra low sulfur heating oil and biodiesel blends yield these stunning results: CO2 equivalent emissions are lower than those from natural gas in a 20 year atmospheric lifecycle analysis!

BioHeat® Fuel Oil
