Eastern Shore Natural Gas Company is the interstate natural gas pipeline subsidiary of Chesapeake Utilities Corporation. Natural gas is transported through Eastern Shore’s pipeline network canvassing the Delmarva Peninsula for distribution to residents and small commercial businesses via local distribution companies, and for direct use by industrial businesses and electric power generators.  Eastern Shore has been providing reliable, efficient and economical natural gas to the Delmarva Peninsula since 1959. Locally owned and operated (headquartered in Dover, DE), we are proud to live in the communities we serve.

Pipeline Since its inception, ESNG has proven that reliable service and safe service go hand in hand. While we continually expand our system, we keep a steady eye on our current operations, ensuring that the natural gas transportation needs of the Delmarva Peninsula are met.  Much has been written and discussed regarding pipeline integrity. At ESNG, our philosophy is simple: comply with the regulations, exceed the regulations and provide the most reliable service possible. Through living this philosophy, we’ve provided reliable service for over half a century.

Services

Our service mix currently includes firm transportation and interruptible transportation. We also offer several contract storage services.  We are constantly evaluating potential new services and evolving our service offerings to deliver solutions that meet the uniqueness of each customer, while providing fair and balanced treatment of all of our customers and potential customers.
