E&B Natural Resources is an independent oil and gas company that employs more than 260 people and is headquartered in Bakersfield, California. Once a small oil and gas company producing 500 barrels of oil per day from a handful of legacy fields, we now produce approximately 11,500 barrels a day from 25-plus oil and gas fields in California, Louisiana, Kansas and Wyoming.  ​​​​E&B has grown rapidly in the last decade by employing the balanced approach of mature field revitalization, acquisitions, and exploration. The company optimizes and develops existing and acquired assets and implements thermal enhanced oil recovery and other technologies to expand existing oil production. We actively seek and acquire producing properties and/or leases with significant growth potential.

Who We Are Two former Shell geologists formed E&B Natural Resources in 1971 with a few leases assimilating mostly abandoned legacy oil wells. Ownership changes occurred in 1998, 2000 and in 2003 with the Galesi Group taking full ownership. Under new leadership, E&B refocused its business model to grow through value acquisitions first concentrating on California assets. E&B has since completed more than 20 acquisitions in Louisiana, Kansas and Wyoming.
