The European Batteries battery systems are based on prismatic, large format, 45 Ah, 3.2 V LFP cells. We have selected LiFePO4 (LFP) as our cell chemistry. LFP technology offers increased safety and reliability over some other lithium-ion technologies. Compared to current nickel metal hydride (NiMH), lithium cobalt oxide and lead-acid technologies, LFP can also provide improved weight, power, and cycle life performance.
