BIO-LUBRICANTS

• LA-5000 is a bio-based lubricant designed to reduce coefficient of friction (CoF) and torque in brine-based completion fluids, LA-5000 reduces CoF in seawater sodium chloride, calcium chloride brines. LA-5000 is also an excellent pipe-on-pipe lubricant for coil tubing operations, demonstrating industry leading torque reduction numbers.
• LA-7000 is a bio-based lubricant designed to reduce the coefficient of friction (CoF) in high performance water based muds (HPWBM). As high-angle, extended reach wells continue to increase, rotational torque and drag have become critical challenges for water-based muds. LA-7000 outperforms industry standard offerings in friction reduction between the drill pipe and casing and between the drill-pipe and the well bore.

METHYL ESTERS

Methyl esters are oleochemicals that have a variety of applications. Derived from vegetable and animal feedstocks our esters are primarily sold as biodiesel and used by fleets and obligated parties as a replacement for petroleum diesel.
