Green Century Resources, LLC is a Delaware limited liability company headquartered in Midland, Texas.  Green Century Exploration & Production, LLC is our drilling and operating subsidiary and Terrabyte Exploration, LLC is our seismic subsidiary.  We are committed to the innovative and responsible development of oil & gas resources and technologies.  Our focus is on oil opportunities in the Texas Permian Basin.  The Permian Basin is the largest oil producing region in the United States.  Our Midland offices are in the heart of this major oil center.  Our goal is to build a leading independent oil & gas company that creates significant value for our investors and partners, the mineral owners we lease from, the surface owners whose land we operate on, the communities we operate in, and our employees, advisers, and vendors.  We are dedicated to innovation, honest dealings, technical and environmental leadership, and excellence in all we do.  Our network of industry experts and capital sources is extensive.  We embrace a broad array of cutting-edge methods and technologies to find and fully exploit oil & gas reserves while caring for the environment.  Our nimble, low overhead approach is designed to keep costs low and performance high.

Whereas almost any operator can profit at $100 oil, our practice of careful evaluation, planning, execution, and analysis helps us maintain a low-cost operating environment intended to allow profitability at almost any sustainable commodity price.

Operations

Green Century operates in the Permian Basin. The Permian Basin is the largest oil producing region in the United States.  The Permian Basin has an abundance of high quality oil and gas reserves in most categories: shallow and deep reserves; sands, carbonates, and shales; vertical and horizontal well targets; conventional and unconventional reservoirs; water, natural gas, nitrogen and CO2 floods, etc.  The region also offers top oil & gas technology experts and top quality service companies in abundance.  The Permian is not only the largest, but also the “hottest” oil field in the U.S.  Green Century drills and operates its own wells in the Permian Basin.  We have expertise in vertical and horizontal drilling and completions and waterflooding operations.  We will consider all types of drilling and well/production acquisitions opportunities, whether shallow or deep, vertical or horizontal, conventional or unconventional.  One of our strengths is our creativity in efficiently finding, evaluating, and developing quality opportunities. Our mission is to develop a diversified portfolio of both conventional and unconventional projects, independently following leads and opportunities that make economic sense, whether in the current industry spotlight or not. The common denominator is that we seek projects with strong promise to deliver high return on investment. Operated projects are preferred and non-operated projects are considered on a selective basis.  Green Century Exploration & Production is continually seeking and developing quality drilling and exploitation prospects. Our Wildcat™ discovery systems allow us to sift through vast quantities of well and production data to rapidly identify and evaluate prospects. These systems are used to search for opportunities meeting our objectives and criteria, and are integral to our methodology.
