Green Energy Products was founded by Tim Lipetzky in the southwest Minnesota town of Springfield. Tim’s always been fascinated by renewable energy. He’s installed two wind generators and a solar tracking system in his backyard, so he can attest to the benefits of renewable energy. Tim hopes to pass his passion on to other people through Green Energy Products to improve their standard of living, as well as the world around them.

OUR PROCESS

• A no charge/no obligation assessment is done to evaluate your energy needs and gather site information. This typically takes 1 - 2 hours. It’s best if you have electric bills from the last 12 months on hand.
• Provide a custom proposal based on information gathered from the site assessment. This is generated within 7 business days.
• After a down payment is received, materials are ordered and installed. This usually takes 1 – 3 days depending on the size of the system. If there is concrete work to be done, it can take up to 4 weeks to allow time for the concrete to cure.
• The system is commissioned and a final walk through is provided. This generally takes 1 – 2 hours to ensure you fully understand your system.

Customized Lighting Solutions

There have been many advancements in lighting technology over the years. Past lamps were measured using photopic sensitivity, which is based on the amount of light given off by the lamp. New lamps are measured using scotopic sensitivity, which is based on how your eyes perceive the light. This scotopic sensitivity allows us to use lamps that illuminate more without using excess light or energy.  Not only do you save energy when retrofitting and relighting your facility, employee productivity rises while eye fatigue and headaches decrease. It’s also been shown that better lighting decreases the number of accidents in the workplace.  Relighting can brighten displays and make materials more appealing to increase sales. And it can pay for itself in as little as one year.
