Mining

The mining industry faces numerous challenges that require experts to provide creative solutions. As a company, we provide precise measurements, calculations, mapping and other vital data to support the most complex mining operations avoid costly errors.  Recently, on a pro bono basis, Gyrodata provided our high-tech expertise by using gyroscopes to help rescue 33 miners who were trapped underground in Chile. We were entrusted with accurately positioning the escape shaft, which was a vital part of the rescue operation. (National Aeronautics Space Administration [NASA] as well as other companies contributed to the extraordinary rescue mission.)  When our mining customers face challenges, Gyrodata is uniquely positioned to safely provide specific solutions.
