H&H Oil is a Texas based environmental service provider founded in 1986 by three brothers, Harold, Don, and Calvin Heine. In 2007, H&H Oil was purchased by Vertex Holdings, LP, a growing environmental recovery and recycling operation with connections to the Cedar Marine Terminal in Baytown, Texas. The acquisition of H&H Oil allowed Vertex Holdings, LP to better adapt the ever changing environment that drives conservation and recycling in the marketplace. 

H&H Oil provides used oil recycling services to the Southeast Texas area that includes Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, and Edinburg. These services include used oil recycling, used oil filter recycling, used antifreeze recycling, and the management of certain oil related materials.

The management and leadership at H&H Oil live in the communities we serve. We have family and friends in these communities and we go to the same stores, schools, churches and events that our customers and others in the communities go to. In order to ensure that each community grows and prospers we must have the ability to take spent streams and turn them into reusable resources. That is what H&H Oil does every day.  The management of H&H Oil knows they must be ever vigilant in finding ways to turn used oils and other used materials into reusable resources. To that end, H&H Oil and its partners work daily to improve our ability to clean and process used oil, used antifreeze, used filters, and oily water, but the list must grow.  H&H Oil will continue to pursue, research, new technology and to provide assistance to the community that will allow us all to keep "Recycling the World We Live in." 

Used Oil Collection

H&H has developed one of the top used oil management programs in the nation by helping reduce generator liability through tracking, analysis, and regulatory compliance. H&H provides our customers scheduled used oil service throughout Houston, Corpus Christi, Austin, San Antonio, and Edinburg. Along with the collection of used oil, H&H provides other environmental services such as used antifreeze and used oil filter collection .

Used Oil Filter Recycling

As part of our used oil collection program, H&H Oil provides customers with oil filter recycling service. Each collected drum is tracked by a state of the art system that meets all TCEQ and EPA requirements. The filters are then sent to an H&H facility where the metal is crushed, cubed, and sold for re-use in the metals market.

Used Antifreeze Collection

H&H Oil provides a full range of services to our used oil collection customers at all locations, including collecting used antifreeze. The used antifreeze is transported to our Baytown facility where it is processed. While many used oil collection companies in Texas only collect used oil, H & H provides a means of properly managing and recycling used coolant.

Burner Fuel and Fuel Oil

H&H produces only high grade recycled burner fuel. This burner fuel is used in place of virgin fuel products such as natural gas, diesel and Number 6 fuel oil. Our commitment to ongoing development of waste oil sources allows H&H Oil to provide burner fuels to many industries without interruption. Each of our facilities are equipped and registered as processors where we manufacture this fuel product.

Fuel Oil Cutter Stock for Residual Fuel Blending

H&H Oil is a prime supplier of fuel oil cutter stock to the residual fuel industry. H&H Oil has a reciprocal agreement with Vertex Energy, Inc. allowing H&H Oil to provide large amounts of used oil/cutter-stock for use in residual and industrial fuel applications. Vertex Energy owns the patented TCEP technology that converts used motor oil, or black oil, into a refining feedstock or diesel replacement, which can be used in all grades of residual fuel. The process utilizes thermal and chemical dynamics to extract impurities from used motor oil at Cedar Marine Terminals, in Baytown, Texas.  Since H&H Oil collects a large quantity of used motor oil and because Vertex Energys TCEP process is so efficient, H&H Oil is able to fill the needs of many fuel customers on an ongoing basis. 

Oil Filters Processed and Sold as Scrap Metal

As a service to our used oil customers, H&H collects used oil filters and delivers them to our Corpus Christi location. H&H owns a processing technology that removes used oil and other pollutants and then takes large amounts of collected oil filters and cubes them. This produces blocks of high grade steel.
