Heetco is a Family Owned Independent Propane Gas Dealer. Heetco was founded in 1947 to meet the needs of the expanding rural propane market. Since then, Heetco has expanded into a Multi-State Regional Marketer serving Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska.  For over 60 years homeowners and businesses have relied on Heetco for their home, business, and agricultural propane needs. Since Heetco was founded we have taken great pride in being leaders in the propane industry and good neighbors to our customers all over the Midwest.  Phil Murfin is on the board of directors for the Missouri Propane Gas Association.  Paul Murfin is on the board of directors for the Illinois Propane Gas Association.

Propane is a safe and efficient fuel, but below are a few facts and safety measures to help make you aware of the steps to take in the event of an unlikely problem with your propane system, just in case there ever is one.  Propane has an odorant added to ensure that you could smell it in the event of a leak. Many people say it smells like rotten eggs.  If you ever suspect that theres a propane leak in your home, leave the building immediately. Use the shut-off valve on your tank to turn the gas off. Go to a neighbors to use the phone and call us. Do not re-enter your home until a professional has told you its okay to do so.
