InStrat, Inc., operates throughout California and western Nevada. These liquids typically contain trace amounts of contaminates generated during pump tests, dewatering of excavating pits and liquids generated from environmental site investigations.  InStrats non-hazardous liquid waste treatment facility, centrally located in Rio Vista, Calif., conveniently serves all of northern and central California, by-passing the Bay Area commute and its traffic.

Transportation

Through its association with many transporters, InStrat Inc. can locate and dispatch vacuum trucks to service its clients in the most cost effective and timely manner. This personal approach to service demonstrates our commitment to our clients needs. All trucks are equipped with stingers to vacuum drums and 70 of 1 1/2" and 1 1/4" continuous hose to evacuate monitoring wells for pump and extraction tests.

• Weekly milkruns. Every week InStrat Inc. dispatched a vacuum truck to sting drums in consolidated areas from the Oregon border to areas south of Fresno, east around Lake Tahoe and West to the Bay Area

Facility

InStrat, Inc.s Rio Vista facility is inside a fully housed structure and operations are conducted on a concrete slab designed for zero run off and complete capture of releases. The facility was built specifically to handle everything from bulk 5,000-gallon tanker transports to single drum loads.

InStrat, Inc. does not accept hazardous waste, either RCRA or non-RCRA. The facility is designed and operated to treat for disposal non-hazardous fluids in accordance with all federal, state and local regulations. The facility is designed and permitted to process 20,000 gallons per day.  InStrat, Inc. maintains 11,000 pounds of media at its indoor Rio Vista, Calif., facility to treat hydrocarbons, metals and MtBE to non-detect levels. Treated waters are filtered to 1 micron up stream of carbon. All contaminated waters can be aerated prior to treatment with carbon.
