Jackson Oil & Solvents, Inc. is a leading oil, fuel and lubricant distributor in Indiana. Based out of Indianapolis, Jackson Oil & Solvents can serve you and your business statewide, offering you the best product lines available.  â€‹   Jackson Oil Company was founded in 1935 by a Ms. Jackson and over several years was sold successively to David Drummon and Kenneth Dillon, C.J. Hammant and Dallas Jones. Joe and Ramona Carter purchased Jackson Oil Co. on September 15, 1976, from Dallas Jones who also ran a plumbing operation out of the rear of the building.  â€‹   In 1976, Jackson Oil Co. consisted of one location (2080 Kentucky Ave.) three delivery trucks, and four employees. The name was changed to Jackson Oil & Solvents and the company was incorporated on November 30, 1979. In 1989 the Carter's three children, Louis Carter, Sally Gillum and Monica Heath purchased the business. In 2017, Louis Carter purchased the company and is the sole proprietor of the company.  â€‹   In addition to the Indianapolis headquarters, Jackson Oil & Solvents has three additional locations. The company purchased Aero Oil Company on August 1, 1998, which included a location in Fort Wayne, Indiana. A state of the art 24 hour Race Fuel facility was opened in 2008 at the company's headquarters at 1970 Kentucky Avenue in Indianapolis. The wholesale division of Crystal Flash Petroleum was purchased on July 21, 2009, which included a bulk plant and warehouse facility in both Greenfield, Indiana and North Webster, Indiana. The company also operates two Pacific Pride 24-hour Card Lock fueling facilities located on west 86th Street in Indianapolis and at 320 E South Street in Greenfield. Jackson Oil & Solvents has grown due to other acquisitions, which include; Maywood Oil in 1980, Dennis Oil in 1991, Locker Oil in 1993, Johnson Oil in 1996, the lubricant division of McIntosh Oil in 2001, and the lubricant division of Warfield Oil in 2006.  â€‹   Ramjo, Inc. a sister company to Jackson Oil opened a truck stop/convenience store at 2210 Kentucky Avenue, Indianapolis in April 1995. Named Joe's Junction #9, this location was followed in 1997 by the convenience stores Joe's Junction #8 at 214 North State Road 135, Trafalgar, Indiana, Joe's Junction #7 at 2301 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis in May 2004, and Joe's Junction #6 at 5220 West Troy Avenue, Indianapolis in December 2006.  â€‹  Jackson Oil & Solvents, Inc. has grown due to the dedication, hard work and honestly of our employees, selling of quality products, and a concerted effort to provide the best service possible to our customers.
